Thank you, oh Gas Gods, for making it near impossible to go to my nephew’s birthday party 85 miles away in Spokane.

I must tell you that I really am wishing now, that we would have attended last year. I was sick, we didn’t go. Now, I don’t have that choice. It’s hard enough to travel the 60 miles to and from Sandpoint once every two-weeks to do the household shopping, much less travel to Spokane and back.

Is this some type of conspiracy on ___________’s part to alleviate some of the world’s/State’s pollution by making it so that we cannot afford to drive? We own two cars, live rural and I have spring fever. This means, my husband is the only one that gets to drive during the week and only to work, and I have really BAD spring fever

I am somehow trying to figure what to cut from my bi-monthly shopping trip to allow for us to make our trip. That’s a big “something”. What can the children and my husband live w/out for two more weeks? “Something” around the tune of $35.00. Any ideas? Bread? Milk? Cheese? Oh, yes, these items have risen in cost so much the last year; I just may be able to do it!  Is this part of the conspiracy too?

So tell me, whoever’s plan this is, will you let me know when it starts working? Much appreciated!
